Alyssa Zilz is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C) with more than 10 years of experience supporting children, families, and individuals. She specializes in anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, stress management, child welfare, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Alyssa holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University Northwest. She tailors treatment to meet each client's unique needs, with a focus on building trust, fostering self-awareness, and creating sustainable change.
With a specialized certification from Postpartum Support International, Alyssa offers dedicated support to new and expecting parents navigating the emotional complexities of pregnancy and postpartum. She brings warmth, knowledge, and a trauma-informed lens to her work with individuals experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, or the emotional transition into parenthood.
Alyssa also draws from over a decade of experience working in the child welfare system, supporting families and children experiencing behavioral and emotional challenges. Her work in this area includes advocacy, education, and therapy focused on building stronger family systems and helping children thrive.
